Ray Charles On The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour (1969, 1970)

The finale of the first show.
The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour was a variety series hosted by country/pop singer Glen Campbell. Performances were filmed live.
Ray Charles was around for four shows:
  • 9 April 1969 (season 1, episode 10; directed by Jack Shea): Ray performed Born To Lose*, then teamed with Campbell on Crying Time, and I'm Movin' On. In the show's finale Charles, Lynn Kellogg and Glen Campbell (and finally also the other guests) joined in for What'd I Say. Johnny Hartford played the banjo on the last tunes.
  • 25 January, 1970 (season 2, episode 17): Ray performed Eleanor Rigby. Glen and Ray did a  duet on Hallelujah I Love Her So, and a duet-medley on Together Again, I Got A Woman, Making Believe and I Can't Stop Loving You.

  • 13 December 1970 (season 3, episode 13): Ray performed If You Were Mine (duet with Glen), Yesterday, America The Beautiful, and a medley with Blue Moon Of Kentucky, Born To Lose, plus Oh Lonesome Me (with Ann Murray and Glen Campbell).
* This performance made it to the DVD that was part of the photo book publication Ray Charles: Yes Indeed! The Photographs Of Joe Adams (Genesis Publications, 2009).

The DVD Glen Campbell - Good Times Again (Time Life, 2 October 2007, ASIN: B000TSJVIA) contains the duet on Crying Time.
The medley from the 25 January 1970-show was released with the DVD boxset Glen Campbell, American Treasure (Surfdog Records, 2012).
